The fund will be administered by the Florida Department of which will rely on the opinions ofthe state’d Biomedical Research Advisory Councilo to vet research proposals. Dr. Richard who chairs the council and is alsothe ’w vice provost for research, said that the tobacco money will allow the counci to make a special call for applications for Floridaa researchers seeking funds.
